Last night when i took the dogs out at 7pm, it was 104 degrees. It doesn't get that hot up here. That's one reason I left Phoenix.

I bet Alaska is nice right now. Maybe I should've moved there.

Edit: Just went outside and checked the thermometer (it's in the shade), it's 102 degrees right now. Which means it's not as hot as yesterday (yet)

You know it's hot when my snake won't come out of her water dish. (she's from the desert)

They keep saying on the news that today is going to be a "steam bath". :(

It's very weird here. It has been very nice for the past couple of weeks. Some bad storms up north a couple days ago but the temps have been pleasant. Highs around 85, not too humid. But a cold front ran through and now it's cool-ish. Right now it's 63 degrees and it may dip as low as 45 at night. They say it's really going to mess up everybody's tomatoes :/.

I opened the screen window on our storm door when my kids were leaving and it was like a wall of humidity rushed right in. I didn't think we are close enough to be getting humidity from the tropical storm that hit yesterday; but maybe.

It's partly cloudy, windy and in the upper 80s. Maybe the wind will cut the humidity's effects a bit. The good news is it rained overnight so I don't have to rush out to water anything. :p

The humidity is supposed to start creeping back in today. I can already feel it. :(

It's about 63 right now with a high forecast of 86. Partly sunny, but lower humidity than what we have been dealing with.

It's 86 right now and very humid. Tomorrow it is suppose to get up to 96 with high humidity, They say it will feel like 100 and it is suppose to be hot the rest of the week. I hate this weather. I'll be glad when winter gets here. Bring on the snow. I don't have to go out in it.

Right now it's 84 degrees and 77% humidity. Typical Florida summer night. The rest of the week will be typical as well. Upper 80's-low 90's with a chance of thunderstorms. Hot and sticky. :dunno: We're used to it. Our payoff will come in the "winter" :agree::thumbsup:

I happen to love winter. Prefer it over summer.
There's something about watching the snow fall and the look of fresh untouched snow on the ground. :hearthrob:
Winter and I have a hate-hate relationship. I hate it more though. Winter means

Shoveling snow
Black ice
Regular ice
Driving in snow
Slush
Freezing wind
Pipes freezing

Winter has never brought visions of Norman Rockwell paintings to me with people sledding gleefully down a hill or gazing out a window with a mug of cocoa. It makes me think, "this is what hell is like". :devilish:
