Some grilled salmon and veggies. I'm also making a three-layer cheesecake for DH's birthday.
That sounds yummo!!! Wish you would make a birthday dinner for me.

I made meatloaf for the first time with mashed potato, steamed pumpkin and green beans.

Hubby is determined to grill - even if it rains. Burgers for him, a ny strip for me (and yes, he really does prefer hamburgers to steak, trust me, I always offer), grilled fresh asparagus, grilled skewer of mushrooms and zucchini. Salad.  Haven't decided yet what for my carb.  May get my mil's secret fruit pie made for hubby but I won't be having any of that today - too many calories.

I used to put hard boiled eggs in the middle of my meat loaves.

Hi I think you asked if I eat protein and carbs?  I eat everything..lol..it's just a question of how much and when.  I only eat complex carbs (grains, sugars, root vegetables) at one meal  per day (the other meals do have carbs but a low amount from vegetables only.  And only lower carb veggies..no carrots for snacks).  My other meals are protein plus low carb vegetables.

It's an American dessert. Winchester posted about it earlier. She said it grunts as it bakes in the oven. I think that's pretty cool.

I got a KitchenAid mixer today. Sooo exciting. We will be having mashed potato whipped up in my new mixer, pork chops with veg of some sort and a sponge cake for dessert.

I'm just waiting for the snow to melt a bit more on my deck and I will be grilling something myself. :lol3:

Tonight will be a piece of pizza and a salad.

What are mashed potatoes like when whipped? Not all thin and watery? Is vs kitchen aide a food processor? Have you ever put grainy mustard into your mash?

stewball stewball I don't know how the mashed potatoes are whipped yet. The supermarket had ran out so I whipped up some pumpkin instead. It was creamy and yummy. I put butter, cream and salt and pepper in my mashed potato. It's not at all watery.
Tonight we set having chicken Korma.

We are splitting a small ham slice that we're doing on the indoor grill with a roasted pineapple-bourbon glaze. And a baked potato that he and will divide and share. Probably some peas with thyme as a vegetable. And he will have the last bit of the chocolate cake.
