I'm still trying to get my yard ready for winter, the flowers are still alive though! I did get my feral, Russel, ready. Since he's my only one left, he has two heated beds to choose from. He's started using them too, it's gotten down to 28 degrees here. There is a new little guy across the road, but I've been feeding him over there, I don't want him crossing that terrible road! It's just a matter of time before Russel runs him off , or I can pray he'll find a home around here. I wish him the best!

Now there's an idea!  Good one Andrya!  I'd sent a few PMs to people but no takers.
Hope your vet trip isn't for anything serious.

I'm keeping a close watch on Mouse just now as he has a runny eye and I've had him on 1000mg L Lysine the last few days: it's still runny but he hasn't taken to bed like he does when he feels unwell so I've got my fingers crossed he'll manage to fight things back without a vet trip and antivirals.  He's been racing around the apartment bouncing off the walls since I got up, and for the past 20 minutes he's been doing his best to kill the Undercover Mouse so he's not short on energy.  He usually takes to having more time on his own sleeping on my bed when his herpes virus is bad.

OMG EB24, now I am petrified of any forthcoming interviews as I head towards unemployment.

Hadn't entered my head I could use weebles and poo as an interview question, I've obviously been too nice to aplicants over the years which is why I'm now surrounded by the type of people that make me want to leave my job. And now I'm faced with having to prepare to answer the question about weebles and poo myself...... At least now I will be prepared.
Life is a scary and ever challenging source of, well, something.
Mmmmuuuuuaaaaahhhhahahahahhahaha (if you didn't catch it that's my evil laugh). My goal of instilling fear into the masses is complete! Kidding of course- I highly doubt you would ever get this as an interview question and if you do, is it really someone you want to work for? Because believe me when I say that you would never want me for a boss! All part of my master plan: weed out the sissies in advance!

I see no reason why we can't get another 400 posts in 24 hours. C'mon people, there must be a million worthless things worth talking about! WE CAN DO IT!!!!!!

Don't you just hate it when dumping litter boxes, when it misses the bag and dumps all over the floor instead?! Grrrr!

Uh oh, that litter dumping thing.  I got these rubbish bags that sometimes split at the bottom and the litter starts to pour out before you even get it all emptied in there.
I usually scoop out using paper pockets and sometimes they don't fold properly and a bit spills out: I hate that.  I have a mat under the litter tray but to be honest it's more to catch the mess I make than the boy's.

Alright here is my very important babble.....

One night when I was in college my roommates and I were playing the board game "Would you rather." (For those that don't know it essentially asks you to choose between two equally horrific scenarios, like, would you rather die in a fire or die by drowning? Um, actually, I would prefer neither thankyouverymuch!). Anyways, I am not kidding when I tell you that one of the questions was, "Would you rather find a weeble in your bowel movement, or a bowel movement in your weeble?"

Wait. wwwwwhhhhhhhaaaattttt?!?!?!?!?!?!?

To this day it remains the most bizarre question I have ever been asked, to the point that my best friend and I have spent hours debating it and refer to it as "the deathbed question." (i.e. when we are both 100 and on our deathbeds is when we will each finally share our answer.)

So, I put it to you babblers. Which would you prefer? Yes, you may have to go Google Weeble but the basic analysis is that Weebles are a kids toy. They are little people with a round base. Hence the slogan "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down."

It's just so wrong that I can't help but think about it!
We have half a dozen or more weelbes in this house....  From what I understand they are quite a bit larger than the ones that were out when we were kids...  That truly is a bizarre question!
Well the grandchild or any child for that matter could also have something to to with the bowel movement in the weeble. Toddlers can get poo in all places.
That was my first thought.  I have to keep my 1 year old out of the bathroom if DD is on the potty because he would totally chuck a weeble in there....

It's finally starting to look like fall here.  Trees are starting to turn more. My flowers are still alive too.  I need to go pull the rest of my veggie garden though.  I'm not quite ready for winter either.

I used to use plastic around the litter box but these clowns thought that playing beneath the plastic was a lot of fun. And they exit the box in any direction, hence the big piece of plastic. Crazies!

I moved the cat carrier and was Peanut scared. Poor guy is still nervous and it's locked away. It's not even his carrier. I'll be leaving soon so he can nap soon.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday. I slept a little later this morning as I was really tired from company and the meal we had yesterday here. Not going to be too energetic for the rest of this day.

Why is it that despite having tidied and hoovered my entire apartment less than 3 hours ago, the floor is littered with little foam rugby balls, toy mice, a toy rat, and cat biscuit crumbs?
I haven't looked but there's probably a few grains of litter on the bedroom floor as well....  Why did I bother hoovering and tidying up in the first place?  Would Mouse finally eat up all the crumbs he leaves if he got hungry enough?  Would the toys eventually find their way under the bed / sofa / cooker / fridge where I can't see them so easily? Would the litter treading eventually turn to dust and work its way down between the floorboards to add to the ashes that were originally used as sound deadening in the building?  I thought that having a cat that likes to keep his fur to himself, and more robust feather toys that didn't get chewed to pieces within seconds would cut down on the need for housework, but so far it seems this is even less likely than achieving 1000 posts in this thread by the end of today.   Must keep going. Must keep going.  Must keep going.

Ah, having some homemade chili at the moment. Yum yum. Feels nice on a chilly day like this.

Aannd unintentional puns. I also have a cousin who currently lives in Chile, so thankfully I didn't go any cheesier.

Ugh, lawn mowing...I'll do that next week. Right now I'm supposed to be studying. Instead I cut off my nails and slathered the hands with lotion since they've been so dry. Thank goodness for Eucerin!

Chili the food is yummy!  I plan on making some up later this week!

I've always hated mowing the grass.  Fortunately DH takes care of that.  Last year he started just mulching the leaves with the mower and it worked nicely.  So no complaints about that either!  As for snow; well I'm praying we just don't get too much!  I avoid driving in it if at all possible!  Seriously don't like it.  If it could snow everywhere but on the roads I'd be fine with it though!  I'll enjoy it more when we get a wood stove and some way to run our well if we lose power.

Exactly!  The older I get the more terrified I am of driving in the snow/ice, and also, both of my parents are elderly, and I am so worried that they will slip/fall

on ice this winter

I'm so glad that it doesn't snow here! I wouldn't know what to do with it.

I think I'll have some more roast then a nap. I'm so tired today!

Time to run some errands before work. I love going into work at 2pm. If only I could come home around 5pm and still make the same amount of money. That would be ideal. :)

Started today at the gym - not too crowded for a Monday morning. Then on to Walgreens to take advantage of specials they had on water and soda. Then home for a quici light lunch (corn muffin and lemonade) and now relaxing, checking posts, watching, TV and Tippytoes is here by my side.

Here I am, sitting on my sofa drinking yet another cup of tea and watching the windows mist up.
Nasty, cold, wet evening and I'm happy not to be going out anywhere.....  Mouse is holed up on my bed, surrounded by his favourite fleece and enjoying some peace and quiet for a change.  Thinking about making a big pot of rice pudding to use up excess milk that's going to be out of date tomorrow. Might not get past thinking.
