Luciano wasn't trying to hide (I don't think), but it took me a while to find him this afternoon. I had to stand on my bed to take this picture; from the floor, he wasn't visible at all.

The thing is, I'd been calling and calling, and shaking the treat box all through the house, which she always responds to, and she didn't move a muscle, the little brat. I even looked under that futon, but it didn't occur to me she'd be sitting there and just not responding.

Took me a few minutes. Almost looks like a scene out of the Wizard of Oz! I trust no cats were harmed in the lowering of the curtains.

We painted our dining room so we had to move everything out that room and into the living room until the painting was done.
