How do you guys get such low scores? I try so hard haha but it seems like luck sometimes, I always start with words with a lot of vowels and common letters r, t and s. But then it's always the one vowel I don't try

I don't know how you do as well as you do with English not your primary language-it amazes me....I alternate between 2 starter words each day( both have 2 of tye more commonly used vowels and 3common consenants)- sometimes it works very well & other times it doesnt

The creator of Wordle claims there is no rhyme ,reason or method-just pick a word!

99% luck, IMO I use the same starter every day, so sometimes it's luckier than other times. But even if there's only a handful of words left it could be, it still takes luck to guess the right word.

Have you seen this website: Scoredle - How'd you do?
After you solve the puzzle, you can put in your guesses, and see how many words were left after each guess. Usually a majority of the supposedly possible words are obscure ones, so unlikely to have been the answer.

There is a website where you can try a word to see if a) it's a possible answer and b) if Wordle will even accept it.
Is is a Wordle?

There's also a website where you can see which words have been used already, with the assumption that Wordle will not repeat a word. Past Wordle Words – Alphabetical Answers List, No Spoiler!

Referencing those last sites would be considered cheating by some Wordlers, but it certainly can help improve your daily score.

I just made a list of words to use as starting words, with different vowels and consonants, to choose from each day- some of them are common birds since I'm a birder, some are outdoor things like "acorn" and "ocean" and "canoe", flute is one since I used to play it, etc. And I just pick one and go from there. I save the Wordle game each day (I use Google Chrome and you can save it with that) so if I want I can look back to see recent words. This link has a chart of the most common letters used in Wordle so far:

Then just work on it. Today had me stumped! With English not your first language, I agree you do great!!

Thanks for the tips! I usually don't like sites like that myself but I can see how it can be very helpfull if it's not working at all. I'm just happy I get to play and it usually works out alright. And one day i wil get the lowest score I'm sure of it hahah!
