Last weekend it was so cold and we got 6-8 inches of snow - sort of unusual for this area. Sunday and Monday it partially defrosted then refroze overnight creating a mess of ice roads. People were encouraged to stay home on Monday and Tuesday - all schools shut down and the roads were a mess. Wedesday it started warming up and today no snow in sight and it's almost 70 degrees outside! Sheesh!
Same here. Was sweating and in short sleeves by noon. No wonder everyone gets sick! I noticed it was 69 degrees on the way home just a while ago. Hard to believe that just one week ago today it was icy cold and snowing.
I give up...mother nature has lost her mind....77 one day and now headed back to the 30's at night.....I just dress in layers and keep a heavy coat in the car, just in case.
56 and partly cloudy here in SoCal, was sunny and about 60 today, but after midnight the 3rd rainstorm of the week is coming and going to dump 2-3 inches of rain tomorrow! El Nino came a year late!
Foggy, foggy, and foggy. It's like we're living in London right now. For the past 2-3 days, we've been in fog. We're right around 41 with a high forecast of around 48. I think rain later on today.
it is raining right now...at 39 degrees... tomorrow will be an off an on showery day with a full blown Nor'Easter arriving Monday night and into Tuesday.... thank Goodness it will be warm enough for Rain and not snow... will be staying home with my guy....
Oh no!!! just remembered, I have an appointment in Boston for Tuesday Morning.. I think (hope) the most will be over with by then....
Well it's a bit drizzly now and 57 at 11pm, but rained pretty much all day. Weather Underground says total rain for the day was 4.19 inches!!! I can maybe belive that. Lots of streets and freeways flooded, and the storm channel behind our yard was like a swift river. I think it's about over though, and sun and upper 60s-70s predicted the next week.
We are in the mid-40s and that will be our high for the day. Rain, changing over to snow, possibly some sleet and freezing rain in between. A total of 1-4 inches of snow over night tonight.
