It was mentioned on a different post of mine and now I'm super interested what people think! I never knew there were so many ways to describe a tabby!

These are my two little babies, HRH Queen Elizabeth and HRH Prince Phillip.

I've now found myself engrossed in marking charts and colour charts and I'd be really interested in what people think!

I'll try and provide as many pictures as I can!

HRH Queen Elizabeth - silky, single layer of fur

HRH Prince Phillip (I have less photos, he's only been here for 2 days!) - dense, double layered fur (downy underlayer and slightly 'waxy'
, crimped overlayer)

Hi Scarlettleia, in the other thread I mentioned earlier that Queen Elozabeth was a DSH Spotted Tabby but now you posted another photo that has a clearer side view, she does look like a DSH Mackerel Tabby with white.
As for Prince Phillip, he could be a DSH Classic/Blotched Tabby.

I agree. The first one has enough spots some will call him for spotted.  but biologically I think he is mackerel tabby, or more precisely, a broken mackerel tabby.  Brown broken mackerel tabby with white.

The other seems to be a classic tabby - he has the renown bulls eye on his side. Him too carriers white, here in the tuxedo pattern.
