What do you call it?

Sub, but if it doesn't look sufficiently Subway-ish, I might call it a hoagie.

I've heard hero and grinder, never heard it called a wedge though.

Growing up Sub for cold Hero for hot, then I moved near Philadelphia and learned to pronounce Hoagie.

I think "hoagie" sounds the coolest, though.
