What Breed Is My Cat?

Hello everyone, This is my little Charlie, my partner and I recently stepped in to give him a new home when his previous owner that rescued him from abuse fell ill, We weren’t told a lot about him, other than him being two years old and up to date with the vets, so we think he’s really long, length wise for a cat, and his energy levels and hunting skills compared to previous cats, is spectacular, just so curious, I was thinking he was a cross breed, if anyone else thinks they may be able to determine what/which breed/s he is, Id appreciate it a lot, thanks everyone!

Your Charlie is adorable! And I love his little pink toe beans and his name. I would describe him as a red broken mackerel (meaning interrupted stripes) tabby Domestic Shorthair. Domestic Shorthairs are the landrace cat breed. If you’re curious, you could get him DNA tested, which would give you more info about which breeds he is closest to genetically.
