I am in process, after receiving a valid weight on our little guy of 15lbs, of changing their diet and of course upping exercise, play time etc.
I guess the "good" news is that since 9/8/2014 Monty has not gained any weight. He is still at 15.2. Si, however, has gained 4oz. I don't necessarily think that Si's minor weight gain is an issue as he is way more active since manipulating the food choices than he was before. I think his is actually muscle gain in lieu of fat.
I guess I had hoped that Monty might lose an ounce or two in a few weeks span. Is that realistic? Or does his metabolism need to catch up & reverse itself?
The foods below are what I'm currently rotating (feeding 4 small wet meals of 1-1.5oz) and they each continue to get their 2x/day dry kibble and that totals 1/4cup each. Sometimes they will only eat 7-10 pieces and when they walk away, I throw the rest in the trash. I continue to try to substitute another very small wet meal in place of the kibble; however, sometimes they aren't buying that trick

Based on their old rotation of foods, they were both in the 350-450 calories per day each. The spreadsheet I made and am now tracking daily feedings, we are between 214 and a couple of times (based on their howling at the cabinet doors) up to 315 calories.
I have cut the kibble waaaaay back in comparison. And I am feeding them their kibble portions in separate rooms as Monty was vaccuming up Si's leftovers which is/was my fault.
All pointers and ideas welcome! Just trying to see if I am on the right track.
