So the good news is Nermal is in perfect health, at the perfect weight of 10lbs.
Fred on the other hand tipped the scales at 15lbs. The vet is concerned that he will become obese in time if we don't take action now.
So, now I've got them on a diet plan requiring I mix low cal food in with their regular food. I have to be very regimented in measuring the food as well.
We have an appointment in June to check on Fred's dieting progress.
Fred also hurt his paw pad on the ride over to the vet, by scratching like crazy on the sides of the cat carrier. Traffic was very slow because of the snow, so he was going crazy with the scratching for quite awhile. So, he cut his paw pad and it was bleeding when we arrived at the vet.
