Welcome to TCS! We have themed photo contests every month, so hopefully you can participate in the future. In fact, next month's contest will be Holidays-themed, so this picture would be a great fit. He's adorable, btw!

This was the HARDEST vote ever for me. I absolutely LOVED so many of these photos. Kudos to everyone for the beautiful senior kitty photos.

Darn! missed submitting photos. For some reason I thought the deadline was Nov. 30th. I was going to submit a photo of my Harley, who passed a year ago. Ah well. I'm casting my vote though. Too many lovely photos!

Here is Harley FWIW, taken a couple of days before he died, when I knew I was going to have to have him euthanized due to a rapidly progressing cancer of some sort.

Wow, that was hard to choose. Some really gorgeous cats on this thread, as well as good photography to boot. I think that was the toughest contest I've voted in on this site. Congrats on whoever ends up being the winner!

Harley looks like such a sweetheart!

And I agree, almost impossible to vote on this one!

Way too hard. Ended up having to take the six that I found impossible to select one from, write their names down on bits of paper, shuffle them around and pick one.

To me the most senior like cat, was the one going to bed with a comfy comforter and a good book! lol

Although i was also torn to vote for the cat that looked like it wanted to attack the xmas tree, maybe to prove he is still young and strong? perhaps!

All beautiful pictures though!

Georgie was the Christmas tree attacking cat, she was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, and had treatment with radioactive iodine last month. She is eating and drinking good, but I was waiting on her energy level to return. The night before her 30 day vet checkup after the radioactive iodine treatment, she skated across the floor and knocked the Christmas tree skirt a winding... So maybe her energy level is back up a bit....

Awww, sounds tough. I am glad she is getting better, it sounds like shes been through hard times. Poor kitty! She looks like she has a fire in her eyes, I can tell shes a strong cat, so i'm sure she'll get better fast. Good luck!

It was hard to choose because they are all just gorgeous in every way. Good luck to whoever wins but we are all winners to me because being a fur parent already makes us winners.

It would have been nice to be able to pick 3 or more of our favorites. In the Feral poster competition, we could choose our top 5. That way, after a person got done voting for their own cat, they could choose which photos they thought were best. Just a thought for future competitions. I have to admit I voted for my cat.

totally agree. i was torn between two pictures and would love to have voted for both. plus, there are A LOT of pictures, but not many people voting. giving us more votes will get more votes to more pictures.

I'm sure Anne has her reasons... she's been at this a while

She did say:

Since this is very very difficult to vote, we may have a second round if we don't get a clear and cut winner.

If no picture gets more than 15 votes, the top 5-8 photos will be entered in a second round.
