Norachan Norachan I thought your post about seeing the raccoon for the first time was hilarious.

As for me, I can't stop them from eating the feral cat's food, either. They get his water filthy. I have to go out and free the area of them before DH goes out at night. I walk towards them and yell. The big male looks at me like he is going to make a move sometimes. I like the possums. One of them left a baby on our porch. Then it was a frantic race to find a wildlife rescue. (This is way off topic from the photo contest, but the baby possum arrived safely at the rescue.) I wanted to cry because I had already fallen for him. :sniffle:

We do not have the cute creatures here. :sigh:

As far as the contest, it was such a difficult vote. It is such light fun and I laughed out loud at what the cats had to say. Cause you know it's true! :lol:

I have used the decoy bowl of food as a method of establishing peace with the raccoons around here. They don't come around all the time, but it was better than watching them eat the food I put out for the ferals.

This was the hardest monthly photo to choose imo- it's fun but the real pleasure is seeing them ALL- thanks to everyone for sharing these wonderful poses❤
