Tomorrow at 9:30am EST I'm going under the knife again to have Carpal Release on my right hand. Even though I know exactly what to expect (right down to the fact that I need to wear tighty whiteys and not boxers if I want to have underwear on under the gown
) but I'm still nervous. The I.V. hurt last time and waking up after the anesthesia was an awkard feeling; with the oxygen mask on I felt really claustrophobic, and I never get that way. I'll have that huge dressing/half cast/ace bandage wrap for the day and then the next day I can wear the wrist splint which will make things alot easier. I am right handed but because I do alot with my left hand (as my right is using holding on to a crutch) technically I should have a slightly easier time than when I had the left hand done.
Then on Feb. 5th or 6th I expect to get my stitches out, and the doctor said a few weeks after that I can go back to work (so the 19th or so). That's going to be weird for all of you I'm sure because I won't be on here quite as much
I've been out of work since I joined
