Hey guys, just wanted to share an email I received this morning about little Rosie (now Porsche), my foster baby who went home last Friday. I know a lot people on TCS have said they'd find it too hard to foster because of the temptation to keep every kitty and how difficult it is to let them go. But, there is such a need for foster homes and cases like this make it so rewarding:
"Thanks so much for being such a great foster mom for Porsche, Eileen.
She is indeed a very energetic, spunky little girl! You did a great
job of socializing her and teaching her litter box etiquette. From
Liz's description I expected her to be talkative but she is very
quiet - except for that great purr.
It is so much fun to watch her throw all of her energy into her play
then run purposefully to her blankets and almost immediately fall
asleep. She seems very comfortable in her own little room and likes
to play with Corvette when he visits. She weighed 2.0 pounds on our
baby scale on Sunday.
Thank you so much for helping to save this precious little life!"
Please consider fostering if you have the time and space. It's so worth it!
