-I have a tendency to put curry in things it probably shouldn't be added to, and usually like the result...
-I am mildly allergic to chicken, and so is my brother.
-One Christmas, my aunt was in town and made these delicious cookies. Only after we'd all tried them did she tell us that cricket powder was an ingredient!

Mia - I do like where I am living, but I want to live in Hawaii, on Kauai or the northern part of the Big Island (away from the volcanoes.) Maybe I will make it someday, but right now I have too many responsibilities here to leave. The tree would be giant if it were a poplar, but it's an oak, and it's just very big, not giant for an oak.

I love chickens and my neighbor's are some beautiful little bantams. I often have to stop on the dirt road and wait for them when they are about, but I enjoy watching them. Their early morning crowing I rarely hear, but when I do, it just makes me think, "I'm not in a crowded city!"
