#3 is the truth... I love roller coasters.

Mia.... #2 is the truth, you have your kitty blessed.... though I've never heard of that.

1. I have no immediate family.
2. I am left handed.
3. I love playing golf.

I was stung by a Yellowjacket - well it's been several days now. I had a nest in my carport. It's amazing how quickly those things can multiply!

Mia - I think you protested about Cambodia.
Deb - I think you are a lefty.

  1. I have never been skinny-dipping.
  2. I have played in racquetball tournaments from Atlanta to DC.
  3. I used to own a health food store.

-When i was 18, I tried out for the Olympic men's swimming team (100 meter freestyle), but didn't make the cut.
-I was once in a plane that was flying through Cuban airspace without permission during the cold war.
-I was, for a brief time, under federal protection from the mob.

For fun... I'll tell you that while 2 aren't true, they all have a decent chunk of truth in them (just like any good lie ;) )

I used to own a (very small) health food store in the 80's, so yes, Mia, I was a granola merchant! I did the tournament thing, Deb, but it was a different sport.

Deb, I think you still have that hospital bracelet.
Sargon, I think you competed for a spot on the Olympic team.

  1. I have an antique tea set.
  2. I have a 200 year old clock.
  3. I have my Great uncle and namesake's ring.

Deb got it right. My grandmother was cry sick on a cruise and the ship kicked us of fin Hati. because she was sick, no commercial flight would take us, and the private plane didn't have the fuel for a safer course, so for a while we were all in a plane over Cuban airspace, literally flying below the radar, back when that was a very bad thing.

Swimming was a decent guess, because i did swim a LOT at 18.. a few miles most weeks.

As to the other, it was my cousins.. my great uncle was an fbi agent involved in the real event that the movie "the sting" was based on, and for a while after that, his family got extra protection.

As for boris, I think it is the clock.

for me...

-I was born in Germany, because my father was deployed there at the time.
-I receive royalties for a small invention I patented 10 years back
-I don't really like or listen to music

We have three posts going at the same time. So .... an added rule... Please wait until the last person who posted gives their answer to which is truth and which is lies. This will avoid the need to answer more than one at a time.

The answer to my post....
#3 is the truth. I have my hospital baby bracelet

Boris I think #3 is true, you have your great uncle's ring..

I have a two hundred year old clock I was given by a cousin. This clock was featured on Antiques Roadshow on PBS. I was surprised to learn how little it was worth. It is interesting looking.

1. I used to sing in the church choir while I was growing up.
2. My ex-husband worked for the federal government and to this day I have
no idea what he did. He had a special mobile phone that had a pass code and this
was back when most people didn't have them.
3. I auditioned for A Chorus Line for the Broadway production. I sang Tomorrow
from Annie at my audition; I was called back, tap-danced and was called back
again. They found their gal because I didn't audition at the third call back.
