So, is she carrying the long hair gene?
Yes, the medium hair gene and the longhair gene is the same.

Why some cats get longhair but some mediumhair? As I understand it, there also other genes playing.
"Helpgenes" if you so want.

If you plan to breed on her, I wouldnt advise it. She is nice, but the world is full of nice moggies whom desperately need a home...

It's not about breeding, I wanted a cat that has this gene, I like long haired ones, as I said, and about long hair, cats that have long hair are adapted to a different weather. It is just like the color of our skin. Well, here can appear a lot of differences, like the arctic fur, but cats don't have this thing. Also, thank you for all!

I got her, she seems to be a colorpoint and her nose looks like she lost some hair.
