We've been trying for a little while now. I had two miscarriages last year, (one an actual miscarriage and one really a chemical pregnancy that I shouldn't have known about). I should be able to test around the 17th or 18th this month and I think we had our timing about as good as we can get it, so I've got my fingers crossed!
Good luck and *babydust* all around to everyone else who is trying to conceive!
Technically, I haven't had a miscarriage though, just not conceiving. Unofficially, I think I may have had one miscarriage. It was the weirdest period ever and never have I gone through that. But if it was, it was early on.
It's hard to time it just right and my periods aren't regular so it's doubly hard.
What's worse is the emotional roller coaster of "am i pregnant?" "I think i'm pregnant..i hope i'm pregnant...oh please...." and then nothing.
Although now that I started school and I don't really want to try, I'll probably wind up pregnant soon...
We're not specifically "trying", not I'm not on any birth control at the moment. We should try to have kids sooner rather than later for medical reasons, but I'd prefer to wait until I'm permanent (which should happen within a year), so if I do fall pregnant in the next few months it's fine.
I was on Depo Provera for wayyyyyy too long, and my body is still getting back to normal (I'm having a 1 - 1 1/2 week break between periods at the moment!!!), so I don't think it'll happen any time soon.
Good luck to you! We arent exactly trying, but we do think it would be nice to have a second before DS gets too old. Maybe one day we will act on our thoughts...lol
have you tried taking fertility enhancing herbs plus a good quality pre-conception vitamin/mineral supplement?
There are herbs/vitamins/minerals that are supposed to help: red clover, oat straw, raspberry leaves, agnus castus, stinging nettle, vitamin E, zinc, folic acid, etc..
I think agnus castus is particularly useful for anyone who might have hormonal irregularties: linked to taking the pill for long and then coming off it?! Check out the Internet for more info.
