For The Feline Epicurian: Tom Cat Cake

Small block of tofu (freeze overnight).
1/4 - 1/2 lb beef liver.
1 c cooked rice.
3/4 c plain bread crumbs.
1/2 c whole wheat flour.
2 eggs.
2 tsp water.
2 Tbsp lite soy sauce.

Freeze tofu overnight, then slice into thin strips and crumble. Slice the liver and dredge in flour. Saute until brown. Finely chop it (like pate).
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into a loaf pan.
Bake at 350' F for 45 min.
Be creative with frostings, but refrain from too much cow-milk product.

Serves 4-6 adults. Abi

I Guess your kittys will share it with you.
Myself, I'm not a fan of chopped liver. "Bone" Appetite!

How about ground lamb? We could call this variation "Mouse-aka".
No eggplant or potatoes (the nightshade family)! That is poison to felidae.

My Lady McBeth is to have kittens next week. Maybe Mouse-aka will be the perfect post-partum treat.
