I remember Foreigner, yes. I didn't know about the brain tumor. Here's more info from Wiki: "In April 1997, two months after providing vocals for Christian rock band Petra's Petra Praise 2: We Need Jesus, and on the eve the band was to leave for a Japan tour, Gramm was diagnosed with a type of brain tumor called a craniopharyngioma. Although the tumor was benign, the resulting surgery damaged his pituitary gland. In addition, the recovery program had caused Gramm to gain weight, and likewise affected his stamina and voice.[7] He continued to work with Jones throughout his illness and, by 1998, Gramm was back touring with Foreigner playing summer festivals and smaller markets."rubysmama -- Do you remember Foreigner? The lead singer Lou Gramm had a brain tumor. When I saw them in concert, he couldn't really sing well. I wonder if he ever fully recovered his voice?
Yeah, it was at the NY State Fair that I saw him. I think it was the early 2000s. He couldn't hit the high notes.by 1998, Gramm was back touring with Foreigner playing summer festivals and smaller markets.
I love that song too. This is the song that comes to my mind first when I think of Foreigner song:
I Want to Know What Love Is.
