So I was always told lysine would help cats with Herpesvirus, but I noticed that a lot of raw food places don't recommended it. And I've seen numerous vets also not recommending it saying it doesn't do much or makes it worse.

I've seen Lactoferrin recommended a lot instead, usually by cat groups, never by a vet.

Seems like some people like doing both, while others say lactoferrin is the only one to do.

So thoughts?
