After a HIGH of 7 on Sunday, we're supposed to be 60 degrees by Thursday. This has been one cold March, set lots of records this first week. Last year the tulips were peeking out and the fruit trees were ready to bloom, not this year! Now if we can just get rain we'll have it made. We are the only part of the state of Nebraska still in an exceptional drought. Come on rain!
Today feels beautiful compared to recent weather. 42 and sunny! The sun has melted the snow from the roads so they are clear to drive on again. It's still colder than average; but I'll take it!
My mother's grape hyacinths were blooming and some tulips were starting to poke through before this last snow. I'm not sure what her yard looks like now.
