My kitten count is up to... uh... well let's see. I have my one little black (I actually think he's a 'smoke' colored) bottle baby from the litter of 4 (the other three didn't make it). I have the four younger 6 weekish old kittens. Three about 12 week kittens. And now I have 3 what I am going to say is 1-3 day old kittens. The last three scare me :/ they are sooooooo tiny, much tinier than any other kitten i've bottlefed yet. I'm scared to lose them, but know I am doing everything I can for them. The one part of rescue I need to learn to cope with, dealing with losses and yet focusing on the positives. When I lost the last three bottle babies, it was really hard on me. My boyfriend asked me why I do it, he could see how much my heart was breaking doing everything I could for them and still losing them. I just told him it's worth it to see the ones who do make it happy and healthy in their new homes. So I will continue! Then Crimson, and I actually just got Uno back from the family who adopted him. Irresponsible people I don't understand why someone sits there and says "Yes, I understand cats live that long. Yes we will keep them their entire lives. Yes we will get them their shots and neutered" and then contact me 3 months later asking me to take him back because they're moving into a place that doesn't allow pets. No shots. Still intact. It's so frustrating. So... 13 kittens.
Will post new pictures of ALL of my kittens soon :-) The 7 from Nancy's house are already looking a million times better. And the three teenies I just got are precious. Two blue (darker one looks tabby, the lighter blue looks solid), and one dilute calico. All three have INTENSE fever coats.
