Happy Sunday
. We're having the first snow of the season here in Pennsylvania. It looks beautiful. Does it snow where you live? Do you like the snow?
Since we're in Pennsylvania, too (central PA here), we're getting the same snow. I am not amused. Rick already said he's taking me to work tomorrow morning because of the freezing rain that's coming down now.

Can Rick come drive DD and I to the hospital tomorrow morning? DD has to get a procedure done on her thumb and we have to be there before sunup I think! Fortunately; it's raining here right now and warming up. But we had snow and then freezing rain earlier today. I actually had to stick our jackets over the heat vent because they were still damp from playing outside with the kids this afternoon. We didn't even try to go to church. My parents were visiting family down in the mountains of North Carolina and they actually drove through the night last night to get home and miss this storm.

We had snow last week, so this isn't our first snow, more like our third one, I think. The first two weren't all that much, tho; this one is a few inches.
Do I like the snow???
I spent the first 12 years of my life in Upstate New York and I don't recall one white Christmas there. But then about 11 years ago my parents had gone up to spend Christmas with that family and they got buried in 3 feet of good ol lake effect snow in one day. So you never know.
On average it snows once every 5 to 10 years here. I absolutely love the snow. I really wish I could see it more often. I often wonder what a white Christmas looks like to. I've never had one in my life.
You can have ours. Seriously. Please. Take it. Take it all.Don't get much snow here.
It was raining and about 37 out; but the roads were fine. Just wet. It wasn't much warmer when we came home around 10. Most of the area schools north of me had a delay. it's amazing; the next county up got way more snow than we did. I would have cancelled if it had been icy. She wasn't in pain and it wasn't a life threatening issue; nothing worth ice skating over. The hospital is right next to a lake practically; you have to drive by it. And to me that is twice as scary when it's icy.
Well, he's on his way to work right now.....just dropped me off at the office. And I'm sure you're already on your way to the hospital for your DD's thumb. Be careful driving. The roads around here aren't too bad. But untreated roads are just horrid.
