Hi everyone,
Earlier this week I posted the "Euthanize or let pass naturally?" thread about a feral cat in my work parking lot that was looking VERY worse for the wear. Well, since posting I have not seen the cat and my boss has kindly asked me to remove the trap since the cat is likely gone. Thing is, part of me is worried he's still around and it makes me want to continue putting food out. However, I don't want to attract any other strays and tick off my boss. How long would you continue to put out food before you gave up and assumed the cat was gone for good? I know there's no right or wrong answer - I guess I just want opinions and reassurance. I feel guilty that I could be taking away the cat's only consistent food source (if he's still with us). I was seeing him just about every day and I haven't seen him since Monday (for those who haven't read the original thread - he looked sadly near death). TIA! https://thecatsite.com/threads/euthanize-or-let-pass-naturally.337287/unread
