While away my husband let my cats get with our large black Tom cat. The results between the two cats were 12 kittens...not one was solid black! Most were light colored with five being this golden color, 3 tuxedos, 1 orange,1 pure white and a set of twins, gold and white. The twins had umbilical cord attached.! (Our male is now fixed)! I thought both parents had to have points to throw them. Four of the cream are showing dark nose, ears,

and tails!

So cute!!!

No, they just have to carry for points to get pointed kittens. If one parent is pointed and the other carries, about half the kittens will be pointed. . .sounds like they got the memo, lol.

But they can't have a pure white kitten unless at least one parent is pure white. Although sometimes something is funny and one has so much white spotting they are almost pure white. That's rare though. I suspect the one you think is pure white will be a flame point when he gets older 😻 . The red points aren't as visible at a young age as the darker points.

Are both mamas tortie points? I know at least one is due to the orange/gold kittens.

How long has the male been fixed? If it hasn't been at least a month, be careful! Sometimes sneaky sperm can hide in the tubes for awhile and there's a surprise in a couple months.

He's been fixed for three months now! The one female is a purebred the other is not. I was on vacation for two weeks and gave specific instructions to get the male to the vet and get fixed but alas he didn't get him there. The white female I expect has a delute gene running in her blood line as she had the pure white one which I believe as I have been reading is just a large white spot covering all of its body.. similar to mother. Except the mother's face tail and one dark spot on back. I am fearful the white may be read. I have read if the white covers the ears it could be. Here is a picture of her and her kittens. Only ten babies survived. One passed away shortly after birth and one stillborn.
