This morning I noticed a small scratch on Scotchie's nose (picture attached). It may have been from a wrestling match with his sister. Admittedly we haven't been able to clip their nails yet and they are rather long now. Anything we should do about this little scratch other than keep an eye on it? He doesn't seem bothered by it. We are heading out of town this Saturday for a week but do have a pet sitter coming in daily - though our kitties are afraid of strangers and will hide, so she may not be able to monitor it.

Fortunately it doesn't look too serious. Just monitor it and if you notice any change(s) make sure to contact your vet before you leave for vacation. Definitely leave your vet's contact info. with the pet sitter and to avoid this happening while you're gone please clip their nails before you leave. Enjoy your trip and please let us know how Scotchie is doing. 🤗

Thanks Neely. Little Scotchie's nose is doing much better and seems like it will be fine.
