Sheba price increase and ingredient change

I don't buy Sheba often but my cats like the Turkey pate so I'd occasionally buy a case from Chewy. I noticed today the price increased from around 17.99 to 28.99.
There's no way I'm buying it now with that much of a price increase

That's a huge change! And yes, they added tapioca to the pate; I stocked up last fall because our cats really the chicken and turkey.

I noticed sometimes Chewy has weird price fluctuations (so does Amazon). So I wouldn't consider it permanent until it stays that way for a while or all sources have changed the price.

I think they took out the added color so that's a good change

Yes, that would be a plus! (Well, a minus to the recipe that's a plus for the cat!)

Yep. Checked back this morning and the price is back down to its previous price. So weird!
