I'm having trouble with my 2 1/2 year old male cat Hugo. I live in a small studio apartment w/ Hugo and his younger female playmate Hyphen. I have a sunroom in which I sleep in the front seperated from the rest of the apartment by french doors with glass windows. Hugo has this terrible habit of scratching @ the glass doors when I'm trying to sleep. I keep the doors open and he can come in and out of the sunroom as he pleases, but he scratches at them anyway, making a clickclickclickclickclickclick sound of his front claws on the glass. I don't think he's looking to play because Hyphen and him have woken me up with their thundering around the apartment playing @ wee hours of the morning. The only thing I can do to make him stop is to put both cats in the bathroom for the rest of the night. I'm stuck - I don't want to keep the cats in the bathroom when Hugo's doing this, but if he wakes me up, what else can I do? His food and water bowl are always filled, and he's a good cat when he's not doing this.
