GOOD LOVIN' Cat Treats -- A Healthier Substitute For Those Treats ALL Cats Crave?

After our favorite cat treats became unavailable at our local Petco and the clowder, especially Rani, was starting to let me know they were NOT happy with the shortage, I took myself to the shop to try to find more.  None to be found! so I asked one of the employees about them and was given a vague answer.  We still had enough to get by on, but the next time I went, I knew I'd have to produce the goods or bear the consequences -- and Rani is NOT amused by excuses.  The treat kiosk revealed something new -- Good Lovin' treats in several flavors including tuna, salmon, catnip, and dairy, so I added one of each available flavor to my cart, figuring it couldn't hurt to try them.

The dairy flavor was the first I tried on them, with initial univesal enthusiasm trailing off, as the evenings went by, to a somewhat lesser level of interest.  These treats are very similar in concept to those "other" treats, in that they are crunchy outside and creamy inside.  A couple of nights ago, I opened the tuna, with similar results.

The ingredients beings slightly better than those of "those other treats" and the price being very similar at $1.99 a bag here in Los Angeles Metro, I have mixed reviews on Good Lovin' treats; but I hope the other flavors will be received with greater enthusiasm, and that other cats will love them unqualifiably!

@Tarasgirl06  That's a great review, but it needs to be added in the Reviews section and not here, I'm afraid. I added Good Lovin' for you, so you can review the product here -

Thank you!

Two more days to go!

Running out of things to review? Here's a brand new category:

Online pet stores

If you order from another pet supplies store and you want me to add it, just post it here.

And thank you, @mickNsnicks2mom  for suggesting this new category!

Can this be added? http://www.primalpetfoods.com/product/detail/c/7/id/13

It's one of the Primal lines of food, but strangely Amazon does not carry it. They do carry the freeze-dried ones, but this one is a "complete formula nuggets".

EDIT: This too!
EDIT 2: And this:
EDIT 3:  (the attachment can be detached, and replaced with various other attachments sold by the company)

EDIT 4: http://www.petsmart.com/featured-sh...-catid-800650?var_id=36-21077&_t=pfm=category (Also not on Amazon, but Amazon has the same product for dogs)

Nice category!

Can you add Zooplus please?

http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats
I've added their .com here -

http://www.thecatsite.com/products/zooplus-com#

I think we can keep it by brand name for the stores? Many have local versions, so it's definitely worth mentioning in the review that you're reviewing the UK store.

Two more days to go!!

We're at $249, so I think it's safe to say we'll make it past $250. What do you think? Can we make it past $300? 50 reviews in two days is a lot to ask for but one can hope!

It's out last day and we have 259 reviews so far this month! It's pretty incredible already, but I hope we can manage a few more today!

My apologies. I haven't been able to get the new kitty litter. I'm barely getting out these days and then only for absolute necessities due to meds and horrible weather. I did manage to hit one pet store. Unfortunately, they only had clumping clay in stock.

Wow!

I waited for January to be over pretty much everywhere around the globe and we're closing the most fantastic month ever in our reviews section.

You, our amazing community members, have added a whopping 266 reviews this month!

To get this in perspective, we usually have around 30 reviews submitted each month. So that's almost 20 times more reviews and I truly appreciate the huge effort.

I really enjoyed this fundraiser. I think we should have more in the future. I honestly can't think of a better way to spend the limited advertising budget this site had then have the money go to cats in need instead of an advertising agency. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.
I am going to round up the number to a donation of $300 in total.

Several of you have suggested wonderful shelters and rescue/welfare organizations. I will take a couple of days to consult with the team and decide on the one we'll be giving to this time. I will post the result here and also keep you updated on the actual donation process and what they decide to use the money for.

Stay tuned for our monthly "Reviewer of the Month" announcement and see which one of our reviewers won a $30 Amazon gift card too.

Dang, I wish I had noticed this before the first of February!
That's a shame.  You can still write loads of reviews though and help kitties by letting their people know what's been worth getting and what hasn't.  There are now loads more products and categories to review because of all the ones that got added last month so more likely to find things you want to review as well.  The more the merrier.

I just posted the announcement about the donations here -

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/292147/

This concludes one of the most successful group effort projects we've had here. I certainly plan on having more fundraisers in the future.

Thank you so much for your participation, everyone!
