GOOD LOVIN' Cat Treats -- A Healthier Substitute For Those Treats ALL Cats Crave?
After our favorite cat treats became unavailable at our local Petco and the clowder, especially Rani, was starting to let me know they were NOT happy with the shortage, I took myself to the shop to try to find more. None to be found! so I asked one of the employees about them and was given a vague answer. We still had enough to get by on, but the next time I went, I knew I'd have to produce the goods or bear the consequences -- and Rani is NOT amused by excuses. The treat kiosk revealed something new -- Good Lovin' treats in several flavors including tuna, salmon, catnip, and dairy, so I added one of each available flavor to my cart, figuring it couldn't hurt to try them.
The dairy flavor was the first I tried on them, with initial univesal enthusiasm trailing off, as the evenings went by, to a somewhat lesser level of interest. These treats are very similar in concept to those "other" treats, in that they are crunchy outside and creamy inside. A couple of nights ago, I opened the tuna, with similar results.
The ingredients beings slightly better than those of "those other treats" and the price being very similar at $1.99 a bag here in Los Angeles Metro, I have mixed reviews on Good Lovin' treats; but I hope the other flavors will be received with greater enthusiasm, and that other cats will love them unqualifiably!
