Red Bump under Kitten’s mouth - Thoughts?

Hello!
I recently adopted a 9-week old kitten named Parker. Today I noticed a small red bump under his mouth. There still seems to be fur and he does not seem super bothered by it, but I wanted to ask if someone could know what this bump is? I did some research and though it may be caused by a food allergy?

It could be a tiny scratch or it could be a pimple. Cats can get them just like people do. As long as it doesn’t seem to get bigger or is bothering the kitten, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Or it could be feline acne. If you are feeding him out of a plastic bowl, you might want to change that to stainless steel or ceramic, and be sure to wash his dishes with soap and water after each meal.
