Since I like seeing pictures before making something, I googled, and found the recipe and pic here:

The amounts are in Metric though, and despite Canada officially being on the Metric system since the 70's, I still mostly use cups and pounds and teaspoons when cooking, so if I ever make it, I'll use the recipe you posted.

I always go back and google the U.S. measurements after I copy the recipe..I have been following him for so many years you'd think I'd have it figured out by now!

Hubby bought asparagus this week, hadn't cooked it yet and it needed to get used. I'm not a huge fan of the stuff myself but didn't want it to go to waste. I found a recipe for soup and it was delicious.
