Radioactive Iodine treatment and early stage hyperthyroidism

Yay! I hope he continues to do well! Is it like when they start treatment with medication and they want to do another set of blood work at the 3 month mark?

Yeah. They recommend blood work at 30 days post treatment and then 90 after that. They say with i-131 that it can take a full 3 months for the thyroid to fully recover although most cats drop into the normal levels at 30 days. Fluff's had a few bouts of nausea and vomiting but it's unclear if that's related to his thyroid leveling out or maybe just some mild IBD.
