And then there was my classmate whose first name was Royal.
It must have been going around. So did I, and if you added "PITA" after it, you had him.

Speaking of famous people who name their kids strange things, the heiress to the Lear jet fortune's first name is Shanda. Yep, Shanda Lear. Can you IMAGINE the off-color jokes SHE puts up with?

My cousin's maiden name is Bird. When she married, the local newspaper announcement read, " Bird To Be Married To Buzzard " ( her husband's last name ). Our family has laughed about it down through the years!

One of my parents' neighbors thought a nurse named their baby girl Female. Her hospital baby bracelet was printed with " Female - (followed by the last name ) ". They kept the name and pronounced it Fem-ah- la,
