Misty was a neighbor's cat who we fell in love with. She visited us often, stayed with us, slept there, ate there. With her family's consent. They said they were happy she had a safe place to go. When they moved away and took her with them (of course), that lead to out going to the shelter and adopting our precious Swanie and Cynthia.

Before I get comfortable on a site, I can be a bit of a lurker. I hide in the corners and watch, like a little shadow, until I decide I want to be active. I didn't want a username that was likely to give away personal info, or that I'd be embarrassed about if I met anyone who knew me by it irl, so it ended up being my choice for username various places.
I'm not sure why I picked "Graceful-Lily" - don't remember. I think it just sounded cool. I was 17 at the time lol.
Kashmir was my ranch's name when I raised/bred/trained miniature horses. But, I have been known by friends as Kashmir for many years (because of my Dressage horse). It just sort of stuck. 64 is the year I was born.
"Ashe" is my nickname (and the first four letters of my name)

A dear friend who passed away called me Debbila. It is a Jewish form of endearment to add la to the end of a person's name. My name is Debbie, therefore Debbila.

Mine is short for Jamie Cat - our last cat's name.
I've been using this name online since I first got internet in the late '90s. I normally use it in MMOs or on gaming related sites though, not sure why I picked it here instead of "SomeRandomGuy", which I normally use anywhere not gaming related.
My username is one of my cats, Muffy, who passed away a few years ago at the age of 17 years. She was one of 8 cats that I adopted from my colony. She was so sweet and I missed them all like Hell.

It's just the username I've used online for all the years I've been old enough to use the internet. I'd like to think that I'm a lady and I have a tattoo of butterflies going down my right leg hence LadyButterfly.
MonaLyssa33 is the email I created over a decade ago (and still use). My name is Alyssa and I just made a play on Mona Lisa. The number 33 was chosen because 3 is my favorite number and I think MonaLyssa3 was already taken when I created my email.
