oh yes! many of the repairmen in my area use the disposable shoe covers. the thing is, that unless they have the ones with a coating (plastic or such) on the bottom, the snow/slush/gunk/(and most importantly for my cats) the ice melt or road salt just seeps right through the booties...and onto my flooring.
