Hi There!

Now that the cold weather is here--- up in the northeast, and a storm is approaching; I was wondering what is your absolute favorite food to cook? For a main course.

I think mine is a toss up between tomato soup, or beef stew.

What is your's??

Definitely veggie chili - I make a big pot and have plenty of leftovers. If I have time I bake cornbread too.

When it's cold and wet I like homemade chicken noodle soup with fresh crusty bread like a baguette.

To cook? I despise cooking, but I'd have to say something easy in a crock pot. The last thing I actually cooked was lima beans in ham in a big pot so I could freeze some of it.

Soups for me too, made in the crockpot. Usually minestrone or lentil.

I don't cook and never have cooked from scratch. In cold weather I like thick soups, but our cold weather doesn't compare with the northern hemisphere. It's summer here.

I am a soup person and have been most of my life.I crave it,in fact.So when I heard about our weather coming,I made a big pot of ham and bean/veggie soup and it's waiting for me.I'm thinking I will make bread and some rolls tomorrow,so perfect to go with my soup!

Well it did rain today but it's 75 degrees Fahrenheit here in Florida. I really don't change what I eat depending on the weather. I guess I'd pick a good soup but I eat that year round.

When it's cold and wet, anything comfort food in the crock pot works for me.

Spaghetti is probably my all time favorite thing to prepare. Veggie soup and home fries are close seconds. I love to cook, so there are so many possibilities.

I don’t really cook much but my favourite thing to make for myself is Mac and Cheese.

Tomato sauce with homemade meatballs and sausage from a local place. I have a container in the freezer leftover from Christmas and I'm dreaming of using it already.
