is Pyrantel pomoate suspension harmful to humans? We got some on the carpet giving it to our cat. We have a baby that crawls. I used a wet paper towel and soaked it up (it was a large drop). Should I use anything else to clean it up or will we be alright?

It is not reccommended for giving to babies but is prescribed for children and adults. Unless there were a puddle of it which you baby could get on their hands or feet then suck off I doubt there is more harm than many other things which could be on your home flooring but which you do not know about. I think a small spill which has been wiped up and has hac na oportunity to dry should be fine.

It's used for humans too, in much higher dosages than for cats of course.

Once you've wiped it up there shouldn't be more than a trace left anyway.

Thank you! It was just a drop and I’m assuming the wet rag soaked most up or diluted it greatly. Thanks for the replies to ease my mind!
