Resolved Problem Uploading Images

I'm having problems uploading images to my post from my computer. In one attempt I don't see the image and am not given the choice between thumbnail or full sized image. In the one I just tried for this post, I get an error message saying there was a problem uploading my file.

Hi there, I just attempted to post a smaller image above and it works fine for me. Any chance you can let me know what size the image you're attempting to use is?

Do you know what size that file was? We're setup to accept files of are up to 4MB. Can you please test with a small file? I'm uploading something here, so if you could please save that to your computer and then try to upload from there, we'll know if it's a size issue or not.

I saved your photo with no problem but I'm unable to upload it to my post.

I see some of the problem. The images that I was trying to upload were from my camera at 6.9 MB. I'm going to try one from my cell phone now at 1.6 MB. No, that wouldn't go through either.

@marg While at this moment it is limited to 4MB, in near future, we will definitely have ways to upload bigger picture (and compress it in the server).

Do you get any error msg?

Yes, it says: "The following error occurred. There was a problem uploading your file."

If I click, it pulls it up.

That's the last one I've been able to do and even that one didn't show the image in the post.

Click on "upload a file" under the post, not the picture icon.

Why doesn't that work for me?

Margaret, after you click on Upload a File, you should see Choose a File. Click on that.
