Keep her in the bedroom with you if you can. She will need the comfort of being near you.

Be sure they send her home with 3 days of pain medicine.

Thanks for getting her to the vet!

They gave her a shot so she wouldn't need pain medicine.

:alright: Condolences on losing the babies. They looked premature. Thank you for fighting so valiantly on behalf of that poor mama kitty, getting her medical care and giving her inside shelter. Without you, she would have met a terrible fate.

She'll need pain meds for 3 days after she gets home from her surgery. Please ask the vet about it. It's major surgery and she will be sore.

My vet said that the shot should last a day or two and that they don't give pain meda to cats because they don't metabolize them well. She's home now and happy as ever.

Sorta? She goes in and out as she pleases and the vet made her stitches a certain way so they wouldn't come out if she went outside because I told him that she's a stray.

She really needs to stay inside while she recovers. Are you working to find her a home?

I know she does but she finds a way out and I'm not sure how? I am looking into finding her a loving forever home and now I don't have to worry about her getting pregnant because I was really worried that she would have the same problems again.

She will stay inside if you close your bedroom door. What are you doing to find her a proper home?

My poor little panther now has an eye infection in both eyes :( I went to the pet store and got some eye rinse.

The vet can give you a tube of terramycin. This is an antibiotic salve for the eyes. It will clear it over 5 days.

Is your vet open today? If not, pick it up tomorrow. The cat should not need to be seen for it.

Tiny's eyes are clearing up really great and she can see out of them now! There's just still a little bit of goop left.

I couldn't afford to but I kept using the eye rinse and now she can keep her eyes open and there's only a little bit of mucus left.

Is the mucus green or yellow? If so, there may be infection that needs terramycin. It's about $16 a tube, sometimes less. It can be purchased at tractor supply stores as well as the vet.

I know but the thing is I lost my job a month ago and I only have $28 until I'm able to get a new one. The mucus is clear.
