I tried rubbing her and getting the fluid out of her mouth and preforming cpr I think they're all just too little but I'm determined to try my hardest to keep them alive
None of them do and #3 is almost here just a couple of pushes away. Mama is still outside sadly my boyfriend and his mom think that whatever the outcome it's still going to be the same inside or outside
I know you are doing all you can, but perhaps you could explain to them that they have the opportunity to make a scared, young mother comfortable and safe. It's really shameful that they can't be more sympathetic.
Where are you located? We can help you to find a rescue for her.
It's sad that the kittens are premature, and also sad that your boyfriend and his mother will not let you bring this poor mama cat in the house to have her kittens, regardless of the outcome.
I'm located in Rushville Indiana and I'm trying to keep them warm after mama gets them breathing because mama has no milk and doesn't understand that she needs to snuggle them close to her
Mama probably has more instincts than you imagine she does. She is busy laboring. Milk can come in after delivery, and hers will too whether her kittens survive or not.
None of them survived sadly and mama looks so devastated we will be getting her spayed as soon as we can so she wont have to go through this heartbreak again.
In a month when I get some paperwork so I can afford to spay her. I hope I can bring her in to at least recooperate and long enough not to get pregnant again before I can spay her.
Tiny is having an emergency spay today. Last night she was having contractions and dripping blood so I took her into the vet this morning as soon as they opened. The vet said that she looks like she has a few more in there (sadly I haven't seen movement since she went into labor so I believe that they didn't make it either). I'll update y'all when the vet calls me to let me know how her surgery went.
I will. But if she uses the bathroom anywhere besides her box then she has to go back outside. But I'm taking you advice on putting dirt in the box and I'm really hoping that it works.
