I really hope it is not a Coyote. I know of a lady who lives in the country who takes care of lots of ferals. When her ferals were getting attacked, she started feeding the Coyotes at a site away from the cats. She has been doing this for years and hasn't lost a cat since. You may have to consider elevated feeding stations and shelters if possible, if Coyote can't be trapped and brought to another location. I'll keep my that it wasn't a coyote.17 hrs ago
