Our place in the Mojave was somewhat similar in that it was very near National Park to the south and to the north, undeveloped desert. Unfortunately, that area is being developed like crazy since we left, with housing and also huge solar farms. But the parts that are protected are very special to me, very spiritual places. I love the desert more than any other kind of environment.thank you
the last 2 pics show the National Park, to the north, my property backs up to, it is only a couple of stone throws away.
I bought the property as it is mainly bush & trees & I have it protected for all the wildlife now & into the future.
most of the property is on the south side of the road

Beautiful -- I love "repurposed" things like this!I made this out of an old wooden cabinet, rope, spare parts, and old carpet. They have since graduated to a store-bought one. They had a lot of fun with this one.
You want to use Solvent Free Low VOC carpet glue. It cost more but doesn't give off chemicals for long. Use it and air out for a couple days before letting cats at it. Will last years and not make your kitty sick.chrissycollete what did you use to attach the carpet to the wood? Did it hold?
