Our cats are ALL amazingly beautiful!
This friendly photo contest is about the way in which
the cat is captured in the picture.
We're not looking for professional photography, but do try to
keep things like image quality, lighting and composition in mind.


The Rules:

1. Choose the best picture you have for our monthly theme and post it to this thread. Please mention the cat's name!
2. Image needs to be clear and not too small. 480 pixels high by 640 pixels wide minimum. Larger is better.
3. One submission per member please
4. No special effects, borders, graphics or text on the pictures.

If your photo fails to comply with the above rules we may have to exclude it from the voting stage.

*ENTRY* We don't really have any strange places as I make sure any spot that might be dangerous or troublesome is locked or blocked, but here is the closest thing to "strange" for Elvis -- on the back of my dad's chair.

Haven't yet found a suitable pic but I'm writing this to get the thread in my mail page.
Lovely photos so far.

This was taken at a shelter I volunteered at. 3 of us spent almost 2 hours trying to find Tuxie, who was not in his cage when we arrived in the morning. We looked everywhere 3 or 4 times before I noticed his ear sticking up from the litterbox stack on the top shelf. The top of that shelving unit is about 5 feet off the floor and there is no real way to climb it, we never did figure out how he got up there.

And here he is chilling up there.

I don't have a lot of strange places for Ruby to get into, and me storing a pillow in a drawer is probably more strange than her deciding it makes a great bed. So unless she finds a better strange place in the next 7 days, this will be our entry.

But of course! Hot water systems are just heaven to cats. I had a guy called Fred who just about spent his life on ours.

Just looked it up and realised it's an Australian/NZ/British way of describing a plant in a pot... which is pretty logical, really.
