My husband and I are working on getting our kittens better from the poop issues that the doctor diagnosed as extreme amounts of bacteria in our one kittens stomach that seemed to spread to the other. They are on metronidazole and this is their second round with results taking a lot longer to see than previously and to help with getting them back on track, the doctor wanted them to have probiotics in the food.....So we noticed the fortiflora hasn't been do a whole lot of anything since the numerous times we tried it we haven't seen much improvement. (we have also been spacing out the times we give them their antibiotic several hours after we have given them the probiotic and their food) So I took to the internet and I found thousands of verified purchased reviews on a product called, "pet ultimates probiotics for cats" that have a lot of positive comments about the health of their animals. I wanted to see if anyone has an experience with this probiotic. Also since the container doesnt give more instruction other than "one scoop per feeding" should we be doing less because they are 4 month old kittens? Or should we do the one scoop because of the extreme amounts of bacteria (the specialist said it was more than she had ever seen in a cat before) in their tummies? Thoughts???

Hi,

I know your post is a bit old but I was just searching for this product and came upon it.

My kitten (pictured) had horrible GI issues that plagued him from the day he came home. Recently we took in another kitty (3 years old, mostly lived outdoors). He too had very bad GI issues. Lots of loose stools that smelled so bad it woke us a room away from the litter boxes!

The vet recommended another probiotic that we used daily. I decided to switch and try PetUltimates Probiotics. We have had excellent results in both cats. I am sorry I didn't try something else sooner.

I hope your kitty is doing better too.
