Hi everyone, I'm new here so if this is in the wrong topic, please forgive me.
The past few weeks our cat, Kaya, has been pooping very small, thick 1 inch pieces/smaller pellets and a very little amount at that.
I checked in her litter box and in the past 3 days only 5 small pieces were there.
She is very picky with water lately and hasn't been drinking much...although she has been eating fine, a combination of wet and dry food.
The vet recomended this gel type paste laxative, its been very difficult to give to her but all and all it hasn't done anything.
She has been throwing up lately, not frequently, and it has been chunks of dry food.
Kaya is on the small size, being 3 years old and only 10 pounds, but our family is very worried about her.
Is this just because of her body chemistry?
Can something swallowed, such as a rubber band, do this?
Before I bring her to the Vet again, is there anything anyone would recommend?
Thanks again!
