Chewbie as a kitten..grew up to be an amazing cat. Got rat baited and I spent 4 months nursing him back to health then he developed a fast moving cancer that got into his brain...broke my heart and miss him badly.

Yeah..he was pretty special in many ways. He used to help me undo my shoelaces then take my pens and things out of my top pocket after i got home from work..then he was happy i was home and not going anywhere.
Also he a classic case of where you cannot judge a cats breed or heritage by colour or markings alone and where breeders shouldn't breed to too close bloodlines, his mother was a stunning chocolate marbled Bengal, father was a snow but I suspect that quite a bit, but the whole litter "threw" as the breeder said. Otherwise by all physical attributes he was a Bengal.

I found another old picture of another one of our former cats. This is Spenser, named after the TV detective of the series that was popular at the time we had him. Sadly, Spenser was hit by a car when he was only two years old.
From then on I learned my lesson about keeping future cats indoors.

my gentle loving cat Cucumella . I lost her to lung cancer when she was getting on to 17 years of age.
