Hi, I just wanted to give everyone an update: All 6 kittens have been adopted to responsible forever homes and are perfectly healthy and happy! I just gave over the two that I had been helping momma raise, while the other four were adopted out by the bottle nursing foster. Mine were adopted together! And two of the others were also adopted together, only two ended up being adopted by themselves.
We just had momma cat fixed and I’m working on finding her a forever home too. I’d love to keep her, but unfortunately I wasn’t supposed to have any of these cats in my apartment in the first place! (shhh, don’t tell my landlord.) Well, the way I see it, I’ve prevented at least a few more generations of “grounds cats” on their apartment grounds, so less chance that some other sympathetic tenants will take in an illegal cat down the road lol.
I know it’s inevitable, but it’s sooo sad to see momma cat pacing and meowing for her kittens. She did such a good job with them, I can’t believe they all made it after all the ups and downs I’ve had in this journey of helping raise them. I sure did get attached to “my” two. THANK YOU so much to everyone who replied to my threads, I couldn’t have done this without this site and all of you! I’ll end the thread with some of photos of them (I have hundreds by now):
